Guacamole from some Mark Bittman cookbook, chopped and mashed from memory so no measurements. We had those leftover avocados from Bacon and Sweet Potato Hash night and a whole bag of chips, so why not.

Zhug (hot sauce)

It’s a snowy April Sunday (weird) and Jim’s in the kitchen testing a falafel recipe.

To go with is, he made this recipe from Serious Eats for Zhug, a hot sauce with cilantro and parsley from Yemen. My mouth is burning but I can’t stop dipping.

Looks like basil pesto, but watch out. It’s spicy.
